Afternoon game drive and evening walking Safari. Dinner and Overnight at Kisampa Tented Camp.
Day 2 - Depart for morning walking Safari, Bush Lunch followed by Afternoon Game drive, Stop for Evening Boat Tour, Dinner and Overnight at Kisampa Camp.
Day 3 – Depart to Selous via Dar es Salaam. Picnic lunch, Evening game drive, dinner and overnight at Selous Impala Tented Camp.
Day 4 – Full day boat tour with picnic lunch, Dinner and overnight at the Lodge.
Day 5 – Sunrise game drive followed by bush breakfast more game drive with picnic lunch to sunset. Dinner and overnight at the Lodge.
Day 6 – After breakfast, depart for walking Safari escorted by an armed ranger, bush lunch and with game drive en-route depart to Behobeho Tented Lodge for dinner and overnight.
Day 7 – Early breakfast visit Selous grave, later drive to Mikumi via Morogoro. Dinner and overnight at Foxes Camp.
Day 8 - Depart for Morning game drive, afternoon drive to the lodge for lunch and short break, evening game drive, dinner and overnight at the lodge.
Day 9 – Early breakfast depart to Udzungwa mountains National park. Full day hiking around the park, dinner and overnight at Twiga Hotel
Day 10 - Early breakfast Depart to Kilombero Floodplains with picnic lunch boat safari, later in the evening drive to Twiga Hotel for dinner and Overnight.
Day 11 – Depart to Dar es salaam for fly back homeOver 300 species of birds have been recorded within the park. Some of the species include Eurasian migrant birds, raptors, acacia associated birds, and three species of bird which are endemic to Tanzania: the ashy stirling, rufous-tailed weaver and black-collared lovebird.
Tarangire National Park :Though number of birds are much less than Manyara, variety of raptors and acacia associated birds, and three endemic species to Tanzania: ashy starling, rufous-tailed weaver and black collared lovebird are commonly seen. Ostrich and kori bustard are also seen here.
Arusha National Park : Flamingos are common at Momella Lakes, though the bird life on these lakes vary seasonally. From October to April the lakes are populated by the water fowls from Europe, and the rest of the year the residents birds grebes, pochards, eagles and geese dominate the lakes. Ostriches are common here. This open grassland supports other variety of bird such as kori bustard, larks, fiches and raptors. The park is home to the amazing lilac-breasted roller and three endemic species of Tanzania: Fischer's lovebird, grey-rumped spur fowl and babbler-like rufous-tailed weaver.
Ngorongoro Conservation area :Owing to its Soda Lakes, the crater provides a breeding ground for flamingos, crown cranes and other water birds as waders, ducks and herons. It is also a good place to see striking ground bird such as Kori bustard, which is regarded as the world's heaviest flying bird. You are more likely to see ostrich here, as well as migrant storks during the rainy season than any other time. Birds of prey commonly seen in Ngorongoro are the augur buzzard and the floppish long crested eagle. Other small birds have been recorded here.
Rubondo Island:It is considered to be the paradise for its birdlife.
Selous Game Reserve:Bird life is spectacular. The river banks offer spectacular view for birds. African skimmer usually display themselves on the sand during the dry season, fish eagles perch on the wild palm trees, which line the river. Mkata River Flood Plain in Mikumi National Park: It is rich in birds and it is very easy to reach with southern safari to Mikumi national park.
Udzungwa Mountain National Park and Kilombero Flood Plain:These two sites hold some of rare and endemic bird species in Africa. With local endemic species of Udzungwa partridge, and rufous-winged sunbird, among others include African Marabou, Ruppell’s Vulture, Crowned Eagle, and African Hobby.
Kilombero contains a remarkable number of bird species and plant ecology. Kibasila Swamp, is famous for wet birds and Mwanihana Forest Reserve for forest birds. Species that inhabit and are endemic to the area include Rufous winged sunbird, Kilombero weaver, Melodious cisticola, Kilombero cisticola, Iringa akalat, Dappled throated mountain robin and Udzungwa forest partridgeEnd of the tour
