Zanzibar Island best known as the 'Spice island' was the centre for the slave trade in East Africa and base for David Living Stone's expeditions into the unexplored African interior. Zanzibar Island smell full of the aroma of cloves and other spices, which still provide a livelihood for many people of Zanzibar. There are two main Islands making up Zanzibar, Unguja and Pemba, but Unguja is popularly referred to as Zanzibar. Both Island are famous for its, mile-long untouched beaches with white sands, the deep green azure of the of the ocean, coconut palm trees against the blue sky with its ornamental white clouds. The islands are surrounded by unspoiled coral reefs, and are becoming famous for the spectacular scuba diving and snorkelling. The old "Stone Town" of Zanzibar has been made into a world heritage site. It is a fascinating place with narrow winding streets, old Zanzibar style wooden doors, small shops, busy bazaars, people and children playing. You may visit the Anglican Church of Christ, situated on the site of the old slave market, Beit-el-Ajaib (House of Wonders) which was built as a Sultans Palace, and is now a Zanzibar museum, the lively and bustling Dhow Harbour, the colourful and aromatic Central market and other fascinating parts of the rich history and everyday life of the people. Zanzibar offers a comfortable equatorial climate all year round. The climate varies from warm to hot, though there is always a pleasant fine breeze from the Indian Ocean.
After Tanzania safari or trekking Mount Kilimanjaro most people include 4 or 5 nights for Zanzibar's beach holiday combine with safari and a day stay to historic "Stone Town" before heading out to the unspoiled beach and a 5 star holiday resorts within Zanzibar Island.

Fly from Serengeti to Zanzibar for dinner and overnight :
DAY 1: - After breakfast or lunch transfer to Jozani monkey forest for forest tour to view and play friendly with the rare red colabus monkeys found nowhere in the world except in Zanzibar. Lunch at Namaste Indian restaurant. After lunch evening guided walk to the old fort where traditional and international music is played here you will be able to stay as long as you like. After show drive back to the hotel.
DAY 2: – After breakfast pick up to the south coast at Makunduchi for cultural tour to talk to the villagers and see the local processing of the coconut fabrics mainly used for mud houses building. It is an ideal place for site seeing and experimental zone for Zanzibar cuisine. Lunch at Makunduchi restaurant. Afternoon relax at the beach.
DAY 3: - Full day excursion to Mangapwani slave chambers to visit and view chambers and under ground well, snorkel and relax on the beach lunch at Serena restaurant and beach bar. After tour drive back to the hotel for and overnight stay.
DAY 4: - Dhow cruise from Mtoni or Stone town leaving between 09.30 or 10.00 am on Tuesdays or Thursdays, this classical Arab dhow will anchor at the sand bank or prison Island in front of the Stone town for swimming and snorkeling in a dream environment will then head to a sand bank where we will prepare a great sea food, barbecue with variety of salads and fresh tropical fruits. We will return to Stone town at about 1700HRS.
DAY 5: - Pick up from the hotel to Bawe Island for local fishing trip, using out board engine boat and local fishing gears. This is a half day excursion. After the trip back to Stone town for lunch at Namaste restaurant. Relax at the hotel
